Join us for our brand new dance class 50+ Movers. Coming to the Edinburgh Playhouse from 1st September – 1st December 2026.
Join us for our brand new dance class 50+ Movers. We meet every Tuesday at Edinburgh Playhouse to move and dance the morning away! This class is open for anyone aged 50+ (no dance experience necessary)
This class is led by Jo Richards who has been an established Dance Teacher and Choreographer since 2005 and continues her work in Edinburgh and beyond. Working on community and professional projects she has a real passion for bringing out the best in everyone in a joyful, relaxed environment where embracing your unique self is thoroughly encouraged! Jo runs workshops throughout the year and can be found teaching weekly classes at Dance Base National Centre for Dance @jo.danceitout.
The dance class will be held in our Boards Bar every week 1000-1100 from 31st August – 30th November (13 sessions). Full term dates below:
- September: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
- October: 6th, 20th, 27th, (No session 13th)
- November: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
- December: 1st
- Individual payments of £8.00
- OR block book all 13 sessions and only pay for 12 sessions at £96

This class is a Creative Learning event. Tickets for Creative Learning events are non-transferable and non-refundable. Please note, there is not wheelchair access and there is no access to a lift.
