Theatre Skills for Presenting Yourself

An immersive, theatre-based professional development workshop designed to build confidence, communication and presentation skills, all on the world famous Edinburgh Playhouse stage on 22nd October 2026!
Presenting yourself can come in various ways, such as how you show up to a work space, a meeting, a presentation pitch, networking event and even an interview.
In this workshop, participants will route themselves in acting techniques used by Sir Laurence Olivier and Dame Judi Dench as well as exploring presentation styles through scripts seen live on our stage. You will learn how best to present yourself for various scenarios and how to feel confident doing so. This workshop will show you how you can transfer this learning to your own working environment.

- 0930-1000 – Networking in our Little Picardy bar with tea, coffee and pastries
- 1000-1145 – Part 1: Presentation styles and techniques
- 1145-1200 – Break
- 1200-1330 – Part 2: Putting your learning into practice including analysis and feedback
