Sunny Afternoon captures the raw spirit, infectious passion, and unforgettable sound of one of Britain’s most legendary bands. Through a catalogue of iconic hits like “You Really Got Me” and “Lola”. As well as “All Day and All of the Night”, the show brings their extraordinary story to life.
Set during the birth of Britain’s rebellious 1960s. This “exhilarating” (Financial Times) production is a powerful tribute to the music, the era, and the band that defined a generation.
With music and lyrics by the legendary Ray Davies and a book by Joe Penhall. Not forgetting direction by Edward Hall. Sunny Afternoon is a vibrant celebration of a band that changed the face of rock ‘n’ roll forever.
